I've come to a point when I feel I have to say what I, aged 28, am doing in this community, what I'm here for and what I'm not for.

I'm definitely not here for publicity or popularity. If I hankered after it, I'd find means to gain it. It's easy enough, especially if you have a lot of spare time. I'm not here for daily deviations either.

The chief reason why I'm here is that I want to share my works with others rather than stuck them deep into my drawer ("You don't have a drawer," one might say. Good point. I don't have a drawer, that's why I have to keep my works in the Net). I believe art should be shown, not hidden from the world. Visual art that is unseen is virtually non-existent.

I'm also here for feedback. The worst thing that can happen to an artist is not to get any feedback. The next worst thing that can happen to them is to get only positive feedback. If someone says only nice things to you either they lie or they don't give a shit about you. I appreciate any honest, serious (or less serious) opinion, either positive or negative that can show me what pople think and perhaps help me improve my work.

Another reason why I'm here is that I'm curious about other people's work. I'm amazed by the sheer body and diversity of work presented here. I want to see, compare, ask questions, judge, get inspired, exchange experiences.

Communication, one would say. Yes, I believe art is largely about communication.
